The Shibumy Cinema Movie Experience
Imagine... no crowds, no crying
babies, no people talking around you, no
distractions whatsoever. Movies shown at The Shibumy Cinema are
better than going to your
local movie theater. Sit back and relax
in the privacy of our screening room and
delight in the comfort of one of our six,
all-leather recliners (complete with
your own, personal cup holder). We're capable of
showing films in wide or standard width
screens, High Definition
1080p, 4K UHD, RealD 3D and all
with Digital Surround Sound 5.0.
You may have access to a lot of the
movies we show with streaming services
like Prime, Hulu or Peacock. But "If
you haven't seen it on our big screen,
you haven't seen it" is all too
true! The experience of seeing a movie
on our big screen is truly unique.
Our
HD/True 4K UHD Experience
Most of our films are presented in
beautiful 1080p High-Definition. When
available, our Ultra HD 4K resolution
delivers even sharper, life-like images
and richer colors - allowing you to sit
closer to the screen and enjoy a more
immersive experience.

Our WideScreen Movie Experience
We're capable of showing films in two
screen width formats: Standard (1:85:1)
and Wide Screen (2:35:1), to
enjoy a more immersive movie-viewing
experience on our 150-inch screen!
Our Digital Surround Sound Experience
As if our impressive screen resolutions
and aspect ratios weren't enough, we
also present every feature film in
Digital Surround Sound to make you
"feel" the sound in every direction and
allow a film's soundtrack to flow all
around you with crystal-clear trebles
and heart-pounding bass!
Our 3D Movie Experience
Movies being shown in 3D will be
presented in real D-3D. 3D glasses are
required for these screenings and will be provided to you in
your seat's cup holder when you arrive.
Please read the included operating
instructions that will be provided to
you at the performance or you can
download and print the 3D Glasses Instructions
now for
your convenience. 3D glasses are the
property of The Shibumy Cinema and
must be left in your seat's cup
holder before you leave.
Our Reclining Leather
Seat Experience
All seating at The Shibumy
Cinema include super-comfortable
leather recliners, each recline
back two levels and each are
equipped with their own cup
holder.
To recline your seat from its
standard position:
-
Pull the release lever on the
inside of the right armrest
toward you. This will release
the seat to the first recline
position and your foot rest will
automatically deploy.
-
With both hands on the arm
rests, push with your hands and
back to the second, almost
lie-flat position.
To return your seat to its
original standard position:
-
Sit up and push your foot rest
down with your legs until the
foot rest clicks into place.
Cell Phone Usage
Cell phone usage is never
permitted during any film screening as
it is disruptive to other guests and
just plain rude. Cell phone usage is
permitted prior to the start of a movie,
but we politely ask that you turn your
cell phone off when the movie
starts and for the duration of the film.
